About the ARC Federation Fellowship

The Australian Research Council's (ARC) Federation Fellowships are innovative and highly prestigious awards designed to develop and retain Australian skills.

In 2006, Professor Tim Lindsey was awarded an ARC Federation Fellowship to research "Islam and Modernity: Syari'ah, Terrorism and Governance in South-East Asia". The Fellowship runs for a period of five years (from 1 August 2006 to 1 August 2011).
